To reduce risk, after an initial analyzis we would agree with you and divide project in several iterations, normally with 2 or 4 weeks interval, were project deliveries will be deploy and ready for UAT.
After each iteration, we would review requirements for next iterations, and agree with you new requirement changes, improving satisfaction by early and continuous delivery of valuable software.
